Today’s activity was all about painting! The children enjoyed using watercolours to bring their pictures to life with their own choice of colours.
The children spent time carefully painting their pictures, choosing different colours and practising their brush skills.
It was lovely to see everyone getting involved, exploring different colours and having fun creating their own little masterpieces!

Back to Learning and Ready to Grow!
We’re back! After a well deserved summer break, it was great to welcome our students back to Outta School Learning Center for their first day.
Everyone settled in brilliantly and got straight back into learning. It was fantastic to see so much focus, concentration and enthusiasm around the classroom.
We’re looking forward to another term filled with learning, new challenges and plenty of opportunities for our students to grow and achieve!

Teamwork in Action
The children took on the challenge of completing a 500 piece puzzle together, sorting through the pieces and figuring out where each one belonged.
Working together encouraged them to communicate, share ideas and help one another while developing their patience and problem solving skills.
It was lovely to see everyone getting involved, staying focused and enjoying some quality time together!

Planting the Seeds of Knowledge
Today, our children enjoyed a fun and interactive session all about plants! They discovered the different parts of a plant, what each part does, and why plants are so important for people, animals, and the environment. It was wonderful to see their curiosity grow as they asked questions and shared what they already knew.
Through hands on activities and discussions, the children explored how plants grow and what they need to stay healthy, including sunlight, water, air, and nutrients. They also learned about the life cycle of a plant and why looking after nature is so important.
At Outta School Learning Center, we love creating engaging activities that encourage children to learn through exploration and play. Today’s session was a fantastic opportunity to build confidence, develop new knowledge, and inspire a lifelong appreciation for the natural world.

Our Journey to Cursive Handwriting:
Clear, confident handwriting is a cornerstone of effective communication, and watching our pupils refine their skills has been an absolute delight. Over the past few weeks, the children have taken remarkable strides in improving their letter formation and presentation.
Developing neat handwriting is a gradual process that requires patience, dexterity, and steady focus. Starting with accurate letter placement and consistent spacing, the children have worked hard to build control.
The most exciting milestone in this journey has been the transition to cursive handwriting. We are so proud of the dedication, care, and perseverance every child has shown on their way to becoming fluent, confident writers. Keep up the fantastic effort! 26/07/2026
Splatters of Colour: Exploring Creativity in Art Class
There is nothing quite like the energy in our arts and crafts class when the paint pots come out! Recently, our students have been diving into a world of colour, texture, and pure imagination.
Art gives children a fantastic space to express themselves freely. From bold brushstrokes to intricate crafts, it was inspiring to watch each student bring their unique ideas to life. Beyond the vibrant artwork, these hands-on sessions help build fine motor skills, spatial awareness, and creative confidence.

Demonstrating Determination:
We would like to share a well-deserved highlight celebrating Ayaan’s outstanding work during a recent letter formation task.
Developing handwriting and pencil control requires considerable patience and effort, and Ayaan demonstrated exceptional focus throughout the entire activity. From the very beginning, he approached the task with impressive concentration, taking great care with every stroke, curve, and line.
What stood out most was Ayaan's sheer determination. When faced with more challenging letter shapes, he remained calm, focused, and persistent, working through the exercise with remarkable diligence. Exhibiting this level of commitment and resilience at such a young stage is a wonderful achievement.18/07/26
Spot-On Focus: Well Done, Hamza!
A massive round of applause is in order for Hamza today! Watching him power through his recent assessment was nothing short of inspiring.
From the moment he sat down, his concentration was absolute. Assessments can so easily feel overwhelming or stressful, but Hamza tackled every single question with brilliant focus, calm determination, and real drive. He stayed completely locked in from start to finish, refusing to get distracted and giving it his absolute all.
That kind of dedication and hard work always pays off. Fantastic job, Hamza—you’ve done yourself properly proud today! 11/07/26
Lego, Laughs, and Lego Castles
What a brilliant afternoon! Zara has been an absolute superstar today. We decided to tackle a Lego puzzle castle together, and I honestly cannot remember the last time I had so much fun.
At first, sorting through that giant sea of tiny, colourful bricks felt a little daunting. However, Zara’s endless patience and clever problem-solving made the whole process a total breeze. Piece by piece, tower by tower, watching our grand masterpiece take shape was proper satisfying.
There is nothing quite like great teamwork, endless laughs, and a good cup of tea. Cheers to Zara for being top-tier company! 27/06/26
